Fund Raising

World Book day was celebrated on Thursday 3 March 2016. This year the school decided to use this event to raise the profile of Seapatrick Lourdes Committee, Banbridge.

The annual Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place in May, and offers hope and comfort to the sick in our parish.

St Mary's appealed to the generosity of its parents and a staggering £408 was collected, after each child wore a costume to represent a character from a book and donated £1 towards the Lourdes Fund.

Well done Mr Mackle who really was ‘Twinkle Toes’ at the weekend as he competed in the Clann na Banna does Strictly. Thank you for the fantastic support for our Red and Black Day which raised £414.36 for Clann na Banna.

Mass during Lent

Mass continues to take place in St Therese’s each Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8.15am during Lent. Please encourage your child/ren to attend before school.

School Build

Please continue to check the school website for updated photographs of progress on the new school site.

Parking

Please continue to use St Therese’s car park to avoid congestion on the Scarva Road. There is limited parking available in St Patrick’s car park. The drop-off arrangements are working well and we would encourage parents to either park in St Therese’s car park, if you wish to escort your child to the school playground, or use the supervised drop- off points in St Patrick’s car park.

Please do not park in Clan na Banna car park. This is for staff parking only. Please avoid parking on the main road near our entrance and where our Traffic Patrol man operates. This is dangerous as it blocks his vision for crossing children.

Please be aware that Police and Traffic Wardens will be patrolling the Scarva Road area, in the mornings, to combat cars parking illegally or dangerously.
