Autumn is in the air! Primary 2 Mrs Quigley
We went on a sensory walk down Brookfield Avenue this afternoon. We were looking for signs of autumn and there was lots to see! We found some leaves that had changed colour, and empty acorn shells - the squirrels had obviously been there before us! It was hard to spot any squirrels: maybe we were too noisy!! We collected leaves, acorns, pine cones and sticks.
Everybody saw the bridge and stream. Mrs Quigley pointed out to us, how the treetops reached across to form a canopy. The sunlight was bursting though the gaps in this canopy. It was a beautiful sight.
Here are some pictures of our autumn walk. Who can you spot???
