Catch That Hat! Literacy in Primary 2

This week Primary 2 have read and discussed the big book ,"Catch that Hat!" by Emma Chichester Clarke: Rose was chasing her cat, when the wind blew away her favorite hat. The wind took the hat on an adventure.This book is a children's favourite, and explores the use of rhyme to tell a story.

We thought it would be a good idea to investigate the effect of wind on our lives and we even made windmills!

This gallery will provide other photos of the children using practical materials to carry out subtractraction tasks, our new topic in Numeracy.

Word building is a weekly activity in Primary 2, as we want to be good at spelling!
