Science investigations in Mrs Moore's P2 class

Today Primary 2 carried out an exciting science experiment with lemonade and raisins.  We predicted what we thought would happen when we added raisins to lemonade.  We thought that maybe the raisins would get bigger or perhaps turn the lemonade a different colour.  Then we carried out our investigation and we noticed that when we added raisins to lemonade .... the raisins moved up and down!  The gas in the liquid made the raisins move to the top of the liquid and then fall to the bottom of the plastic cup.  We had great fun being scientists!!
