Today we celebrated Diabetes Awareness month with a Superhero Dress Up Day in school.
Sarah-Jane, in Primary 2, is our very own real-life SUPERHERO! Living with Type 1 Diabetes, is part of, and always will be an integral part of Sarah-Jane's life, and that, of her parents, and brothers.
We wanted to show our support and make our school community aware of this condition... thus, with the help of Mrs Pauline Comiskey, Sarah-Jane and her peers, Tyler, Fionnuala, Catherine, and Anna.... our objective was achieved. The children visited Key Stage One classes where they conveyed a presentation all about diabetes. Well done to everyone involved.
Sarah-Jane, her Mum and Dad, would like to thank everyone for making this day possible.
