What do you think will happen if ....? Mrs Quigley Primary 2

Primary 2 were asked to predict what would happen if a balloon filled with water was put into the freezer.

We filled balloons with water and tied them to trap the water inside. The children had to touch, smell, look at and describe they they saw and felt. We discussed the weight of the balloon; we tried out the flexibility of the water balloon by throwing,bouncing and rolling it.

We put all the balloons into the freezer and are waiting patiently to see what will happen.
