World Book Day Celebrations March 2015 at St Mary's
World Book Day is a celebration. It is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly, it is a celebration of reading.
This is the eighteenth year of World Book Day, when children of all ages come together, worldwide, to appreciate reading. Children are encouraged to explore the pleasure of books and reading.
Our school got involved with an amazing parade of pupils dressing up as their favourite character from a book.
A huge thank you to all our parents who purchased, borrowed or made a costume.
Our Book Fair will be held on week beginning, Monday 16 March, in the school Assembly Hall. The book tokens may be redeemed against a purchase during this week.
You can view a selection of our children celebrating World Book Day in school, in this gallery.
