Caught Showing 'RESPECT'
This week our whole school came together to celebrate 'Anti - Bullying Week 2024.' The theme this year was 'CHOOSE RESPECT' and our whole school really did, just that. It started on Monday with school assemblies and every class really showed respect in the hall, well done. We had Odd Sock Day on Tuesday and we showed our Odd Socks off and discussed why it is important to celebrate being unique/different. Each class teacher chose 5 children throughout the week who demonstrated respectful behaviour which deserved a prize.
Every child in school received stickers to celebrate and promote this week. Some prizes were given out to celebrate RESPECT towards others. This may have been, noticing someone needing help, standing up for others, demonstrating ways we can help inside/outside of school, showing manners, showing respect in class and in the playgrounds. We want our children to continue to show respect in and out of school to our families and our wider community.
Finally, I want to thank our children, staff and the amazing PTA for coming together and celebrating the theme 'Choose Respect' this week. The PTA helped provide funding for the resources and prizes, thank you.
