Coronavirus - School update

Dear Parents/Guardians

I wish to advise you that school will open as normal on Wednesday 18^th March.

The current advice from the Department of Education, as of this morning, is that schools will remain open. However, this is a fluid situation and may change at any time.

Principals have been informed that schools will be instructed to close at some stage in the future, as yet, a decision when this will happen has not been made.   

Considering the conflicting advice in relation to Coronavirus, it is understandable if parents wish to keep their children at home, in particular if your child has asthma, or anyone in your home has any underlying illness. In these circumstances pupil absence will be recorded as an authorised absence.

We will keep you informed of any further development as soon as we know.
