Congratulations to St Mary’s football team on reaching the EVO League semi-final on Thursday. Following a tight 0-0 draw the tie was decided on the flip of a coin. Unfortunately, it was Fairhill who progressed to the final.
The A team had a great tournament playing five games without conceding a goal to win their group and progress to the semi-final. Well done to Enda Quinn, Jacob McAnearney, Jack Jardine and Cillian Daily who all had a fantastic tournament. Congratulations to Jamie Richardson on receiving the Golden Gloves award.
The B team had mixed fortunes winning 1 game, drawing 2 games and losing 2 games. It was particularly successful as 3 P5 boys made their school debut. A special mention to Max Kearney, Pearse Downey, Harrison Smolenski, Finn McGrath and Ryan McGivern on an excellent tournament.
