P7 Leavers’ Awards
Thank you to all our parents and family members who were able to attend our P7 Leavers’ Awards Assembly on Tuesday.
On behalf of the Board of Governors and all the staff at St Mary’s I wish all our Primary 7 pupils every success and best wishes in their post-primary schools.

Thank you for the fantastic support at our PTA Funday on Sunday 14th June. A profit of £3,218 was raised for our school. It was great to see such wonderful turnout. We greatly appreciate the support of all our parents who were able to help out on the day. Our thanks to Mickey Feeney, Barney Green and Paul Evans, EVO Soccer School, for their assistance at the event. Our thanks to all the PTA members and staff who made the event possible.

Vice Chair – Caroline Robinson

Thank you to our outgoing Committee for their tireless work and endeavour throughout 2014/15. Over £10,000 was raised since September 2014 for our children and school. This is greatly appreciated by all the children, parents, staff and Board of Governors.
The support of an active PTA is vital to school, our children and teachers especially in an environment of ever decreasing education budgets. Please support your child’s school join our PTA.
GAA Cúl Camp
Children will be able to attend the summer GAA Cúl Camp at Clann Na Banna next week. Children registered with the camp will be escorted to Clann na Banna on Monday morning and back again in the afternoon.
Pre-Loved Uniforms
Pre-loved uniforms are still being collected in the school office. Parents are asked to leave in any items of uniform that are no longer required but are of good quality. These can be collected and reused by other parents.
School Meals
If you have received a letter from the SELB/SEA regarding free school meals, it is important that you reply as soon as possible. Failure to do so will result in your child’s name being removed from the free school meals list held by the Board. A new application will then have to be made in September.
Please note school meals will increase in price by 10p from September 2015. Nursery meals will now cost £2.20; primary school meals will now cost £2.30.
Sports Day
Thank you for the amazing support at our Sports Day. There was a magnificent turnout of family and friends to support our children. Thank you to Mr McGrane, for again organising a hugely successful day. Our thanks to Paul Evans, EVO Soccer School, for their assistance on the day and to our PTA for providing refreshments.
