Our Primary 5 children had the opportunity to experience 'A Mesolithic/Neolithic Workshop' in The Parish Centre. The workshop was provided by The Active Learning Company and a big thank you must go to Rita, Rebecca and Paul for their delivery and patience on the day. The children had an interactive hands on experience, moulding clay bowls, dressing up, hunting boar, drawing fossils, building tombs, making axes, creating Mesolithic type huts and exploring artefacts. The workshop was a great extension of the classroom and our children learnt so much! Today would not have happened if it was not for The Parish Centre who kindly allowed us to use their facility, thank you! Finally, a big thank you to all our staff for helping out, especially Mrs Kane who organised this very rewarding and educational experience for our children.
