Our Thanks and Appreciation

As you are aware tragedy struck one of our families this week when their home and belongings were destroyed by fire. We are obviously delighted that all of the family got out of the house safely although they have been literally left with nothing.

The response to the school’s and our PTA’s appeal on Wednesday for help and support for the family has been astonishing. The support offered and provided from our school community, the wider community across Banbridge and beyond has been truly inspirational. 

Offers of support and donations of accommodation, clothing, furniture, toys for the children, financial support etc. continue to pour in.

Having spoken to the family, they are completely overwhelmed by the response from our school community and the wider community at large and they would like us to pass on their sincerest thanks to everyone.
