The children from Mr Mackle's class took part in a lovely river walk down by the Leisure Centre. The class are looking at 'Habitats' and this walk provided the children with a great opportunity to explore how tree's can be used as habitats. The class worked in groups of three to identify trees, gather natural resources for Madala Art and use ipads to capture images of habitat life. This active learning approach was a very rewarding experience for everyone. A big thank you to Mary Kate and Caitlin for all their support during the walk. Well done boys and girls on all your hardwork, lots of beautiful Madala Art.
