On Wednesday 13th December Mr Mackle's class took a walk around our town Banbridge. The class were given a detailed tour about Banbridge by local historian Jason Diamond. The class were inspired by Jason's knowledge of the old Victorian buildings and they learnt a lot about Banbridge then and now. It was a very cold day but this did not dampen the children's enthusiasm for learning. On the way around they were treated to a well deserved hot chocolate in a local café. I would like to praise the class for their behaviour and their road safety awareness on this trip. The class would also like to say a big thank you to Jason Diamond for providing this experience.
