School Council Update
22nd Mar 2024
Our School Council recently suggested a lot of ideas for fund raising and ideas to help improve our pupil voice. Jay Finnegan from Mr McGrane's P6 class suggested that children should have a chance to add their own ideas in a box. This was welcomed and he even took it upon himself to ask his dad to help. His dad kindly created and donated a new suggestion box for school use, giving everyone a chance to lodge their own suggestions. This was a fantastic idea and a big thank you from the school council to Justin for making this happen.
Also, suggested during our last meeting our council members wanted to raise money for Trocaire. Our P7 children have been busy going around classes and asking children to guess the weight of a jar filled with sweets. All money will be donated to Trocaire. The last day to purchase a guess will be Monday. Goodluck everyone!
