Congratulations to St Mary's A team on winning the Newcastle, South Down 7 a-side competition in Donard Park for the third year in a row. After qualifying from the league section the boys comfortably won the semi final 4-0 against Kilkeel before dispatching Bracken 5-0 in the final. All the boys played fantastically well in possibly their best overall performance this year. Well done to Jack Conlon, Tom Jordan and Tyler Gorman who all had an excellent tournament.
Our B team were extremely unlucky not to reach the semi final after a great effort in the league section. Unfortunately poor finishing let the boys down yesterday. Well done to Lennon Bell, Eoin Eakins, Jamie Trainor and Leo McFadden who all had an excellent tournament for the B Team.
